One to many is a common usage of the Radius® SDK and can be utilized in proximity marketing, geofencing, and mass validation use cases.
If there is a single transmitting device, there can be infinite receiver devices listening for the same payload simultaneously as long as they are in range of the transmitter.
If there are multiple transmitter devices broadcasting to one receiver, each transmitting device should transmit using a different channel. Multi-channel selection is a new feature of Radius® 3.0 and the default channel for all Transmitters/Receivers is channel 1.
Up to 3 different Transmitters can be created using different channels and can broadcast distinct payloads simultaneously from the same device.
If a multi-channel implementation seems best for your use case, you can discuss more in detail with our Customer Success team by emailing techsupport@lisnr.com.
