Updated over a month ago

3.0 Main Features:

  • ToneLock security feature - see additional article

  • Tone failed and Tone presence (beginning of a Tone) event notification - see additional article

  • Use of multiple channel(s) for broadcasting unique payloads or using separate tone profiles simultaneously - see additional article

  • Expanded set of tone profiles available for bidirectional/Transceiver implementations

  • Tone Profiles re-named:

    • Standard2 -> (deprecated)

    • Standard2_wideband -> Zone66

    • PKAB2 -> Point1000

    • PKAB2_wideband -> Point2000

    2.0 Main Features:

  • Unidirectional ultrasonic data transmission (1:1 or 1:many) - Transmitters and Receivers

    • Tone profiles:

      • Standard2

      • Standard2_wideband

      • PKAB2

      • PKAB2_wideband

  • Bi-directional ultrasonic data transmission, sending and receiving on non-overlapping frequency channels (1:1) - Transceiver

    • Transceiver Types:

      • PKAB_SEND_STANDARD_WIDEBAND_RECEIVE

      • STANDARD_WIDEBAND_SEND_PKAB_RECEIVE

      • PKAB_HIGHER_SEND_PKAB_LOWER_RECEIVE

      • PKAB_LOWER_SEND_PKAB_HIGHER_RECEIVE

  • Transmitters

    • Single Transmit functionality

    • Beaconing Transmit functionality

      • repeat payload transmission until stop called explicitly

  • Receivers

    • Detected tones report values for SNR (signal to noise ratio - indicates amount of interfering noise relative to the received strength of the tone) as well as Header/Payload EVM (error vector magnitude - indicates how challenging it was for the tone to be received)

  • Mobile Only

    • Ability to set the transmission volume of an outbound Transmitter broadcast
